PLACED ACADEMY WINS SOCIAL IMPACT AWARD AT LCR PROPERTY AWARDS!

We're delighted to share that PLACED Academy has won the Social Impact Award at the Insider Liverpool City Region Property Awards, recognising the impact of our programme and the opportunities we're creating for young people across the region.

PLACED Academy is our free-to-access programme supporting young people aged 11–25 from across the Liverpool City Region to develop skills, build confidence and explore careers in the built environment. Now in its seventh year, the programme continues to grow in both reach and impact, providing a pathway of opportunities that breaks down barriers and helps young people from all backgrounds realise their potential.

None of this would be possible without the incredible support of organisations and individuals from across the sector who generously share their time, expertise and resources to help us deliver the programme. We're hugely grateful to all our supporters, including Cityheart, Avison Young, Sutcliffe and Brabners, many of whom joined us at the awards ceremony.

By working together, we're able to create meaningful opportunities for young people, helping them build connections, develop confidence and take their next steps towards future education and careers.

PLACED Academy is also supported by the wider work of PLACED, our parent social enterprise. Through community engagement projects, PLACED helps diverse voices have a meaningful say in shaping the places around them. Any surplus generated through this work is reinvested into PLACED Academy, helping us grow the programme, reach more young people and develop new opportunities.

Winning this award is a wonderful recognition of everything we've achieved together. We were proud to be shortlisted alongside so many fantastic organisations delivering important work across the Liverpool City Region, and we'd like to congratulate everyone recognised on the night.
